chutzpah

MLR's choice for "Worst in 2007":

(H)er performances in Bellini's "I Puritani" and Gounod's "Roméo et Juliette" at the Metropolitan Opera. Call it the reverse Midas touch: Everything this cavalier, inexplicably ballyhooed soprano sings turns to rubbish - all look-at-me chutzpah, no substance, no soul. Study your scores, girl!
Who could she be referring to, I wonder (while suppressing a grin).
